In most of the cases Laptop Makes noise due to dust in the cooling fan. If your laptop cooling fan contains dust then it will spins slowly, So laptop processor getting heat and your laptop makes noice. And some times you will get SYSTEM HALTED or System terminal over heat error and then automatically Shut down your system
